So, my first entry of the month of June...and my also first in about a month =p. Either I've been very busy or just plain lazy, Or both? As you probably noticed, I changed my blog templates more often in the past few weeks than blogging. Currently happy with the skin right now, I decide to update. With update request from from the likes of Shidah and amal, I guess I have to hehe.
Many things happened in my long absence from the blogging world which means a long post coming up. i'll try to summarise it up.. try...
Padi and Ada Band Concert

Went to the Padi and Ada Band By Demand concert at JPCC last Saturday night. And guess what? Me and Syafiq got our tickets for FREE!! About 5 days before the actual concert Syafiq, adi, k.deena, khairana and I went shopping at The Mall and came across a fairly large crowd just infront of Chong Hock on the 1st floor. B Mobile was giving away free tickets to those who sing any of Padi or Ada Band's song on stage. With a little bit of hesitation, Syafiq volunteered and sang menanti sebuah jawapan and I sang kau auraku. Special promotion was also given on that night only. The $68 ticket was given a 50% discount from 7 till 9 pm. Adi rang up Zizi and they each bought a seat.
Before the concert, I went home early from work because they want to be at JPCC as early as possible to ensure a good seating. Me, Adi, Syafiq, Zizi, Aji and Azim went together. And thanks to Zizi's sister for providing us with another 2 free tickets for Aji and Azim. =) . After a little snack, we're on our way.
As usual, the local artists open up the concert with Juju singing her hit single, Maria with "Bisikan hati" and "Angan", and Fiz with dewa's "Takkan ada cinta yang lain". Lastly, all three of them sang "Teman tapi mesra". I was quite impressed with Maria and even more impressed when she sang with Ada Band later that night. Oh what a sweet girl, sweet voice, cute girl and can sing too! =D. And great emcee work by Siti, the host..yang hitam manis as syafiq said it...Know how to keep the crowds entertained. she's very...err..charismatic..
Ada Band was up first and they did great! Awesome even! All of their songs were exceptionally lawa. Just the kind of music I like to listen to..mellow. Too bad I don't know most of the lyrics to their songs. But what the hey. Just tabak-tabak saja as long as I got the melody right and had fun doing it! Then, the vocalist, Donny, get the crowd hyped up every time he walked to the back area. Manage to get a picture of him with me in it. To bad my phone lags, if not I would've taken more pics.

Padi then came on the second half of the show. And what a very good job they did entertaining and lively-ing the audience. They manage to keep some of them, including me, standing especially during their first and last song. And the drum solo by the drummer was incredible! Where did he get that energy from? What a very active, energetic performance. The show ends around midnight and overall, I still like Ada Band's gig better. And now I'm wanting their new album, Romantic Rhapsody.
